How to create a Christmas card with cereal paint

This activity allows kids to: Use their sense of touch Be creative Explore textures Explore colors

Craft materials Red, yellow, blue finger paint Rice, oatmeal, wheat cereals A glass of water Paper  A lead pencil Glitter (optional)

Step 1 Fold a sheet of paper in half to make a greeting card. With the lead pencil, make a Christmas drawing on one side of the card.

P.S. It’s important to draw a picture that isn’t very detailed because it’s difficult to replicate it with finger paint. 

Step 2 In a bowl, mix a small quantity of cereal with the paint. The ratio should be 2 parts paint to 1 part cereal. Add water (and glitter if so desired). Mix with fingers until the cereal is the same color as the paint.

Step 3 With your fingers, apply the cereal paint to the drawing. Weigh down the four corners so that the card remains flat and let dry.

YOU NEED TO PUT A LOT MORE CREATIVE THINGS ON THERE BUT ALSO NOT TOO EXPENSIVE ASWELL AND SOME OF THE THINGS THAT ARE ON THERE ARE QUITE RUBBISH AND MOST PEOPLE KNOW HOW TO MAKE PERHAPS PUT SOME MORE CHRISTMASSY THINGS ON THERE BECAUSE IT'S GETTING CLOSE TO CHRISTMAS.
