Charming Candle Holder for Mother's Day

A handmade gift that will bring a sparkle to your mom’s eyes!  A creative activity for the whole family!

Craft material

• Tissue paper in different colors 
  
• Glass, cup, vase or other glass container 
  
• Transparent liquid  paper glue
  
• Small bowl
  
• Old paintbrush
  
• Small candle 
  

This activity allows kids to:

• develop their fine motor skills
  
• learn how to be patient
  
• improve their hand/eye coordination
  

Instructions:

• Pour a small quantity of glue into a bowl.
  
• Rip pieces of tissue paper with your fingers.
  
• Apply glue to a small surface of the container. Affix a few pieces of tissue paper and apply more glue with the paint brush.
  
• Using the same technique, go all around the container.
  
• Don’t put any paper or glue inside the container.
  Let dry.
  
• When it’s thoroughly dry, you can spray it with lacquer.
  
• Place the candle inside the container.
