A pretty greeting card to make with the kids!
A melted wax technique is used for this craft - Creative activity for the kids!
Craft materials- 1 sheet of semi-rigid paper
- Wax crayons in different colors
- 1 tracing paper
- Newspaper
- Iron
- Glue
This activity allows children to: - learn a new technique
- develop their creativity
Instructions:The drawing: - Fold a tracing paper in half. Unfold the paper.
- On one of the two halves, apply different colors with the wax crayons. Don’t leave any white.
- Plug in the iron and set it to “Cotton”.
- Fold back the blank side of the tracing paper onto the side where the drawing is.
- Place the tracing paper on a newspaper and cover it with a sheet of newspaper.
- Iron the entire surface of the sheet. The wax will melt and blend.
- Slowly unfold the tracing paper while the wax is still warm.
- Let dry.
The card: - Fold a sheet of semi-rigid white paper.
- From the sheet, cut out the size that you want.
- Cut out the melted drawing in a smaller size.
- Glue the drawing onto the card.
Use this card to write your message to mom for Mother’s Day!
