An original handmade gift idea!
Craft materials- Small spray bottle (approx. 150 ml)
- Bowl
- Plastic spoon
- 100 ml of distilled water
- 10 ml of alcohol (such as Vodka)
- 5 to 8 drops of your choice of essential oils: thyme (tonic), rosemary (expectorant), lemon (tonic), lavender (calming), rose (tonic), mandarin (cures insomnia) or any other. You can also mix several essential oils!
- Food colorant

- develop their sense of smell
Instructions:For the best possible results, make sure that the utensils and the materials used for this activity are extremely clean. - In a bowl, mix the water and the alcohol then add the drops of essential oil one by one.
- It’s important to smell the mixture as you go; only a few drops too many and the scent will become overwhelming! If you chose a clear bottle, add a splash of color by using a few drops of food colorant. .
- When you’re satisfied with the result, transfer the perfume into the bottle. Screw the top on tightly.
- Because this product doesn’t contain any additives or stabilizers, it’s important to shake the bottle before using it.
- Add a printed or handwritten label.
- Use a ribbon to decorate the bottle.
